Here is a little bit about our story and how we got here today. We hope you enjoy the read about how our family is now going to help your family!

Dean Sime (CEO) and Vanessa Sime (CFO) were both born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley, Dean since 1979, Vanessa 1984. Both of us were raised around trade industry entrepreneurs and business owners.

Vanessa was raised in the “trade” industry. Her father is a commercial general contractor, and her uncle owns a plumbing company. Vanessa studied merchandise marketing at FIDM and studied business marketing at CSUN.

Dean was raised in the “trade” industry as well. His grandparents have lived in SCV since the late 1940’s and started a successful water truck and grading company, where Dean spent a good amount of his childhood learning and helping his grandpa. This is where he acquired his amazing work ethic. Dean’s stepdad also owns a roofing company and Dean worked for him until he started in the water heater business in 2002.

Dean and Vanessa met in 2005 through mutual friends, even though they lived less than a mile from each other their whole lives. They became fast friends, went on a couple dates here and there. And have been together since 2008. Married in 2014 and bought their first home in Santa Clarita in 2015. Soon after, their eldest Cole was born in 2015. He is going into first grade next school year, and he loves to go swimming and play soccer. Their youngest, Chase, was born in 2018 with a CHD that required open heart surgery and is now a thriving preschooler who loves to go swimming, I mean no one can get him out of that pool!

Dean started as a water heater technician in 2002, worked for the same company for many years, until finally they decided to start their own company. Dean has worked on sales and water heater installation all over southern California and the bay area, there isn’t a water heater situation he hasn’t come across, which makes Your Water Heater Company the best company to call for all your water heater needs!
